working with artists and musicians to curate their image and hone unique promotional material is one of my favourite experiences as a photographer. previous photoshoots have crossed genres, from pop to country to electronic. from cover art to promotional photos for your PR kit, I can help you assemble dreamy photographs for your next creative project.
how it works
my creative package for artists is a collaborative journey. starting with the vision, we will sit down and discuss the atmosphere, colour palette, and direction of your visuals. i will ask you to put together a vision board – typically on pinterest – to convey the angles, colours, and general ‘vibe’ that you are after. if you are a musician, i typically ask to listen to your music in advance of the shoot to get a feel for who you are as an artist. from there, we will agree on a date, time, and location for the shoot.

my creative artist package is comprehensive and can cover several areas of promotional material, including:
- single/album cover work
- promotional shots
- headshots
the specifics
- 1 hour meeting at least a week prior to the shoot
- if necessary, a site visit to navigate photoshoot parameters
- 2-3 hour shoot with multiple outfit changes (no more than 3)
- creative input from me
- 15-20 professionally edited photos

Jupita
Jupita's single release - 'Anxiety'
in 2022, multi-instrumental musician Jupita released her co-written and co-produced single ‘Anxiety’. Jupita approached me with a vision – cover art of her soaring into the sky, bright colours, blues, and a pinterest board full of inspiration. after our initial meeting, we had a clear idea of what we needed for the shoot, including outfits, makeup, and the necessity of a sunny day!
the shoot took two hours, three outfit changes, and involved me lying face up on the grass for the perfect shot to catch the sun perfectly behind her.
her single Anxiety now has over over 135,000 streams on Spotify alone.

Oni Kidman
Oni Kidman's EP release - 'Screw Society'
Oni Kidman released her debut EP in 2023. her songs are imbued commentaries on society and reflections on herself and life. she wanted the photoshoot to complement the vulnerability of her EP. first, we did a one hour photoshoot in a natural, personal setting, capturing Oni in a relaxed atmosphere. second, I was a fly on the wall at one of her recording sessions, where I captured moments of her in her element in the studio.
both photoshoots captured a raw but different side of Oni. these shots were used for her EP promotion.
Paul the kid and theajsound
moody, atmospheric, and dark was the brief for my shoot with musicians Paul the Kid and the AJ Sound for their single Close My Eyes. the goal of the shoot was to capture the single artwork for use on streaming services and promotion, with additional images from the shoot used for the single roll-out and launch.
Paul sent me a detailed pinterest board outlining the vision – he wanted reds, blacks, purples, a night shoot with a church in he background, with interesting lighting and shadows. we met at set at 8pm, just before sunset, and, with the help of lighting designer Manahakaora Lawrence, had the most fabulous shoot. the photos turned out better than I had imagined.
the single has now amassed over 40,000 streams on Spotify alone.
